Kindergarteners Find Their Voice Through Daily Journals
Tracy Porter's class has been busy learning how to tap out words (like sounding them out) and build strong sentence structure. Throughout January, they’ll be journaling every day to practice their skills.

Riccardi Elementary School marked the month with a fun assembly that focused on caring for those pearly whites. A local orthodontist shared how many baby teeth and adult teeth we have, talked about foods that help teeth stay strong and foods that can cause cavities, and reviewed the right way to brush and floss.

Kindergarten students at Riccardi Elementary School recently teamed up with Grade 5 students for a gingerbread house activity that brought learning and kindness together in a meaningful way.
