In Germany, when you think of Christmas, you must think gingerbread!

During the lesson, students learned how both countries celebrate the season with long-standing customs. Germany is known as the birthplace of the gingerbread house, and both nations are recognized for creating large amounts of gingerbread during the winter months.

To bring the lesson to life, students colored, cut, and decorated their own gingerbread cookies. They proudly hung their creations in the hallway, adding a warm, festive touch for everyone passing by.
